1. Introduction

Welcome to MTM Tooling ("MTM Tooling", "we", "us", "our"). MTM Tooling is a brand operated by Badshah Tools, and refers to the website located at carbidemtmtooling.com (the "Website") and the MTM Tooling mobile application (the "App") — collectively, the "Service".

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our Service. It applies equally to the Website and the App. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Our Terms and Conditions govern all use of the Service and, together with this Privacy Policy, form your agreement with us.

2. Definitions

• Service — the carbidemtmtooling.com website and the MTM Tooling mobile application, operated by Badshah Tools under the brand "MTM Tooling".
• Personal Data — data about a living individual who can be identified from that data.
• Usage Data — data collected automatically from your use of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Cookies — small files stored on your device by your browser.
• Device — any device used to access the Service (computer, phone, tablet).
• Data Controller / Data Fiduciary — Badshah Tools, which determines the purposes and means of processing your Personal Data.
• Data Processor / Service Provider — any third party who processes data on our behalf.
• User / Data Subject / Data Principal — the individual using the Service.

3. Information We Collect

Personal Data. When you register, place an order, or contact us, we may collect:

• Name, email address, phone number
• Billing/shipping address, city, state, PIN code, country
• Account credentials
• Order and payment history (payment card details themselves are never stored by us — see Section 11)

Usage Data. Automatically collected when you use the Website or App: IP address, browser type/version, device identifiers, pages visited, time and duration of visits, operating system, and diagnostic data.

Location Data. Only with your permission — for the App, via device location settings; for the Website, inferred from IP address/browser settings. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.

Mobile Device Permissions. The App may request:

• Notification — To send notification
• Location — To locate shipping address
• Camera — to scan products or upload images
• Storage — to save/access files
• Internet & Network State — to connect to our services

You can manage or revoke these anytime in your device settings.

Cookies & Tracking. We use session, preference, and security cookies to operate the Website, and analytics cookies (see Section 12) to understand usage. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly without them.

Note: We only collect what's listed above. We don't collect government ID numbers, passport details, marital status, employment history, or similar sensitive categories — if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process orders, payments, and shipping
• Provide customer support and respond to enquiries
• Send order updates, account notices, and (with consent) promotional communications
• Improve the Service, detect technical issues, and monitor usage/security
• Comply with legal and tax obligations (e.g. GST invoicing and record-keeping)

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your Personal Data based on your consent (e.g. account creation, marketing opt-in), the necessity to perform a contract with you (e.g. fulfilling an order), and our legal obligations (e.g. tax records).

6. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are retained for the period required under applicable Indian tax/GST law, even after account deletion. Usage Data is retained for a shorter period unless needed for security or legal reasons.

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated Personal Data at any time:

• In the App: Use the "Delete Account" option in App settings.
• On the Website: Submit a request via email customercare@carbidemtmtooling.com with your registered email/order ID. We will verify your identity before processing the request.
• Deletion requests are processed within 3-4 business days.

What happens on deletion: Your profile, saved addresses, and account credentials are permanently deleted. Order and invoice records tied to your account may be retained in de-identified or archived form for the period required by GST/tax law, after which they are deleted. You may not be able to use the Service again without creating a new account.

8. Disclosure of Data

We may disclose Personal Data:

• To comply with law, legal process, or valid requests from public authorities
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
• To contractors, service providers, and payment processors who support our business, under confidentiality obligations
• With your consent, or to protect our rights, property, or safety

We do not sell your Personal Data.

9. Your Rights

If you are in India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the Personal Data we hold and how it's processed
• Correct or update inaccurate/incomplete data
• Request erasure of your data (subject to our legal retention obligations, see Section 6)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity
• Register a grievance with our Grievance Officer (Section 16), and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved

If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us using the details in Section 16 to exercise any of these rights; we may ask you to verify your identity first.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Payments

We do not store your payment card details. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors who are independently PCI-DSS compliant.

12. Analytics & Tracking Technologies

We use third-party analytics tools, including Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising, to understand how visitors use the Website and App through heatmaps, session behavior, and similar metrics, and for site optimization and security purposes. 13. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures, including encryption of sensitive data in the App, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party sites not operated by us. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies before providing information.

15. Cross-Border Transfer

If you access the Service from outside India, your data will be transferred to and processed in India, and by using the Service you consent to that transfer.
